Working from home is not new, particularly in the software development world but it came with some challenges such as dramatic reduction of social interactions for workmates not working on same projects. The current situation with social isolation and quarantine didn’t make things easier.

In order to figure this out and “bring people together” we proposed a very simple game. Everyone told the organizer a personal detail such a funny story or hobby. Then, during a group call, the organizer quoted each phrase while everyone tried to guess the author. Winners are the ones that know their mates the best.

This game helped us forget for a little while the hard time we’re living with COVID-19 and break the daily routine (where every day seems to be on a loop, where every day seems to be on a loop). It also made us know each other even better than when we were all at the office.

We just learned that between us there’s an messenger pigeons trainer, a carnivorous plants breeder, 3 archery fans, a few artists and tons of anecdotes such us “I once run a 2mi race and lost to a guy on a wheelchair”

There’re many things we can do to be closer while keeping everyone at home. We just need to use our Creative Coefficient
